Rare Vintage D. Bonade German Silver Clarinet Ligature

This extremely Rare Vintage D. Bonade German Silver Clarinet Ligature dates I think from the 1940’s and according to Dale Fedele, a really knowledgeable and very excellent clarinetist, was probably the first edition and was hand soldered. Dale’s YouTube demonstration of the history of and development of Bonade ligatures is highly recommended and fascinating. This one is all original German Silver, with original screws . I am retired from professional performing and another clarinetist should have this ligature! This one has immediate and effortless response in all registers and is in my opinion, far superior to the modern versions of Bonade ligatures -even those that are silver or gold plated .It has some issues that I noticed when using a magnifying glass: there are two tiny slits through the metal and the rail underneath is crooked . There are signs of repair to this area that I unfortunately did not notice . I discovered this ligature in a box that I had not opened for many years . That being said I am starting the bidding low to give all interested clarinetists an opportunity to bid and will not end this auction early for any reason. Please be aware of these issues-I have added two pictures to the original listing and took off the Confusing pictures of the Sunner ligature which I will also re-list in another auction.
