T
his listing is for a Harrison style alto saxophone ligature. I call it a "Harrison style" because I am not sure if it is an authentic Harrison, or a reproduction. There are a couple odd things about it. First, it has no markings on it what-so-ever. Harrison ligatures are normally marked, but then again, so are the re-productions (ie. the Rico "H", and the Japanese made copy). No markings at all is peculiar. Also, it is nickel plated. Again, I've never seen a nickel plated Harrison, nor a nickel plated Harrison copy. It does look quite like an original Harrison though, but I make no promises. Please check out the pictures, make your own determination, and bid accordingly.
This ligature is in good condition. It has not been bent out of shape or cracked. The screws work properly. The nickel plating is flaking off though.
This ligature fits standard size hard rubber/plastic alto sax mouthpieces, such as the Selmer S80. It would be the "A2" size.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
Thanks again for looking!
Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
